Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty in Islamabad

Blepharoplasty is a surgical operation to rectify eyelid issues. It removes excess skin to rectify the eye-bags due to lower eyelids, and of the weaker upper eyelids. With advancing age, skin starts losing elasticity and firmness due to reduced collagen production. As a result of this, skin cells accumulate on the upper or lower eyelids. This not only becomes an aesthetic concern but also impairs vision in some individuals. Surgeons reposition tissues or sometimes remove extra skin, muscle or fat to correct these abnormalities. What is Blepharoplasty?

Eyelid surgery comes in three types and can be carried out in different procedures or even together.

Upper Blepharoplasty:

This helps in enhancing the appearance of the hooded, heavy, and droopy eyelids look by tightening the skin and excessive fat wastes in the upper eyelid.

Lower blepharoplasty:

It can get rid of excess skin and fat on lower eyelids in order to lessen wrinkles, baggy eyes and dark circles as well as puffiness. It shapes the eyelids adding back the tissues and tightens them.
